Dear fellow Escondido residents,
I am honored to announce my candidacy for Escondido City Council for District 3. I am proud to call Escondido my home and loved growing up being surrounded by this great city. I have been a nonprofit leader for more than 20 years and an active community member involved with amazing boards in the historic downtown area. I have owned my home in the Old Escondido Historic District for four years and my neighbors are some of my most trusted friends.
My volunteer involvement in the community includes board secretary of the Old Escondido Historic District, volunteer fundraising director/board member of the Escondido Art Association, a member of the Escondido Community Foundation, a member of the San Diego Women's Foundation, and a member of the Escondido East Rotary Club.
I am running to represent our district how it should be, by listening to community members and creating innovative solutions to the current issues facing our city.
I have made the decision not to run endorsed by any political party. I want to represent the concerns of the residents and not have my decisions controlled by county, state and national political agendas that are not in Escondido's best interests. I am here to represent you and your interests.
